Harmonize your body and mind
Hi, I’m Jessi. I am an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist working with women to help them achieve healthy cycles, balanced hormones and increased fertility.
I know that when a body is out of balance, it often exhibits a range of symptoms. In our medicine, we treat groups of symptoms, called patterns, not specific diagnoses. This means that we try to get to the root cause of issues, rather than just simply treating symptoms.
I am inspired to help others because of my own journey through years of pain, reproductive and digestive system issues and depression. I was told by many different doctors to accept my conditions because they would never go away. Fortunately, I refused to believe that the rest of my life would be spent in pain and dis-ease. I always intuitively knew that my body and mind were designed to feel healthy and whole.
I was introduced to acupuncture and Chinese medicine in my early 20‘s and it changed everything. I learned that every emotion affected a specific part of my body. And more importantly, that every part of my body was connected. After beginning treatment with acupuncture and herbal medicine, it was not long before I experienced regular menstrual cycles, which was amazing. Not only that, but my pain was reduced,
my digestion was improved, I had more energy and my emotions were balanced. It was a long journey to a place of wellness and I have seen firsthand how powerful this medicine truly is. Because of this, I am dedicated to assisting other women navigate through a variety of health issues in order to live a happier, more harmonious life.
I believe acupuncture and Chinese medicine can make profound changes in the body, both inside and out. I seek to help women understand and love their bodies in order to move gracefully through all phases of life.
Please feel free to connect with me to learn more. I look forward to discovering more about your story and how I can help you!
All the best,

Women’s Health & Wellness
I had sciatic pain and was getting electrical charges down my leg with continual muscle twitching. The pain was severe and my leg felt like it was burning. I was only sleeping an hour and a half per night and could not wear long pants or even shoes. I was a bit nervous to try acupuncture but the medical industry was not helping my condition. A friend recommended Jessi. Best move I could have made. Acupuncture and herbal medicine was the right choice for me. Jessi helped me more than the three medical doctors I was seeing combined. In the very first session she stopped my leg from twitching. Now I am able to sleep through the night and have almost no pain at all. I tell everyone about my experience and how doctors couldn’t help, but my acupuncturist did. I am a firm believer now that I have experienced the healing power of acupuncture
I went for acupuncture to prepare for and recover from a major orthopedic surgery. Jessi treated me for pain and swelling following the surgery, so I did not require narcotics for pain control. She helped manage my anxiety about the procedure, in addition to improving my sleep. I felt Jessi was invested in my health, not just my acute concerns, but in helping me improve my overall wellbeing. She is knowledgable and skilled in assessment and treatment. Jessi has a calm, professional demeanor and it was comforting to go through a major medical event and know that she was managing my care. I saw weekly improvement and my surgeon was surprised and impressed by my recovery time.
It’s hard to put into words exactly how Jessi has impacted my life. When I initially decided to explore acupuncture—as suggested by my reproductive endocrinologist—I was nervous. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to feel comfortable. Jessi immediately made me feel welcome and was extremely reassuring, calming my worries and more than anything, she showed me that her practice was a safe space.
Jessi’s personalized approach to acupuncture and wellbeing is unprecedented. I have a lot of amazing medical professionals on my “fertility team” as I like to call it, but Jessi topped the list. Every session, we spent 20-30 minutes discussing how I was feeling that week, what had been going on mentally and physically and any goals I had for the coming days and weeks. She structured her technique that day around what my body needed, rather than just a generic approach to acupuncture. She listened to my pulses and tailored her treatment to match my body.
Over the last year, my husband and I have experienced a few fertility setbacks—one was extremely tragic and devastating, and Jessi was there for me every single step of the way. She consistently checked in on me, lent her ears and her heart during my darkest days, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. My husband often says (even though he hasn’t met Jessi in person), “I don’t know what I would have done without Jessi.” He recognized that her thoughtful, personalized approach to wellness made me a calmer, healthier, more grounded person than ever before.
Jessi taught me health practices I will carry with me my entire life, and I truly believe that her practices and treatments have had the most positive impact on our fertility (and honestly, our overall health) than any of the other things we’ve done.
Jessi is concerned about your overall well-being—and it’s apparent with each and every visit. While there may have been some immediate goals, Jessi helped me learn about my body so that I could feel empowered to reach these goals and others, years down the line. Yes, Jessi was my acupuncturist, but she was also a mentor, a listener, and a friend.
